Observing Tianjin Port: SSPC Chairman observed Tianjin Port in Tianjin

Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior general Min Aung Hlaing, who is on a working visit to the People's Republic of China, visited Tianjin Port at 10 a.m. local time on September 1st, along with the delegation accompanying him on the trip.

First, the high-level Myanmar delegation, led by the Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, departed from the Tengle Hotel in Tianjin by motorcade and observed urban development progress along the route. 

Subsequently, the Acting President and delegation members arrived at Tianjin Port, where they were welcomed and greeted by the port authorities and responsible officials. Following that, the port representative provided an explanation about Tianjin Port.

Then, a port official briefed on port-related data, the transportation of goods domestically and internationally from Tianjin Port, the conduct of cross-border trade, the port's construction status, the use of AI systems for container handling operations, its work as a carbon-neutral port, and the status of operations powered by wind energy.

Regarding the briefings, the Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission asked questions and discussed matters he wished to learn about. Next, the Acting President and delegation members observed the loading and unloading of containers onto ships using AI systems and the status of operations within the port. Subsequently, using AI-operated container carrier vehicles at the port, they displayed the letters 'SCO' to commemorate the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit 2025.

Following that, the Acting President and the Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission and the delegation members took a group commemorative photo and exchanged gifts with the port representative.
