Observing Assessments: YGN Region CM observed assessment for contestants

The Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, along with members of the region government, visited the National University of Arts and Culture (Yangon) to observe and support the first round of assessments for the contestants representing the region in the 26th Traditional Myanmar Cultural Performing Arts Competition (Advanced and Basic Education Levels), at the training camps on September 23.

First, the Chief Minister U Soe Thein and officials observed and supported individual dance and free verse dance competitions in the Cultural Hall of Swel Taw Saung building during the first round of assessments. They also reviewed the first round of assessments for individual and group singing and musical instrument competitions in the Tharaphyi Saung . Additionally, they observed the first round of assessments for piano, mandolin, and violin competitions in the Kumudara Theater. In the M-107 of Kumudara  Saung, they also watched the first round of singing competitions.

The Chief Minister cordially greeted the contestants and awarded cash of honor. They inspected the temporary health clinic established for contestants in the Kumudara Saung, it’s reported.
