











At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is currently in Astana, Kazakhstan, along with the accompanying high-level delegation members, visited and studied the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC) in the morning on September 28.
First, the Acting President, SSPC Chairman and delegation members were welcomed and greeted by Mr. Bakhtiyar Tleubekov, Chairman of the AIFC Management Board, and responsible officials. Subsequently, the Acting President, SSPC Chairman and delegation members toured the center, studied its operations, and asked questions and held discussions based on the presentations given by the heads of various departments.
Next, the Chairman of AIFC Management Board, officials, and representatives from Kazakhstan's industrial and trading companies provided explanations on information related to the AIFC, its operations in high-tech investment and technological innovation, efforts to establish Special Economic Zones within Kazakhstan and attract investments, the opportunities, technological support, and secure operational management provided for investors, the current status and enhancement of trade relations between Myanmar and Kazakhstan and ongoing operations in the industrial and trade sectors.
Afterwards, the Acting President, SSPC Chairman and delegation members took a group photo with the officials from the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC). The Acting President, SSPC Chairman and delegation members then viewed the Museum of Trust located within the center and engaged in further questions and discussions based on the presentations.
On the evening of September 27, the Acting President, SSPC Chairman and delegation members visited the Baiterek Historical Monument and Observation Tower in Astana and toured the city to observe its urban development progress.
