



More than 20,000 people in Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province, China are relocated from flooded rural areas to safer places, as heavy rainfall has continued to hit the northeastern province since Wednesday. The evacuation efforts have been relentless, with rescue teams and volunteers working around the clock to ensure the safety of the affected population.
Emergency shelters have been set up in various locations to accommodate those displaced by the floods. Wuchang authorities are closely monitoring the water levels in rivers and reservoirs to prepare for any further challenges that may arise. The flood water releasing work is underway in three reservoirs in the city.
