'No more important relationship for the UK' than the US, says British Prime Minister

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer hosted a roundtable with US business leaders and British Ambassador to the United States Peter Mandelson at the British Embassy in Washington DC, ahead of his meeting with President Donald Trump.

Keir Starmer, UK Prime Minister said  "And of course, I'm here to meet another close friend of the United Kingdom, President Trump. And my message is really simple that there is no more important relationship for the United Kingdom, in defence, in security, in trade, in tech, in finance, and so much more."

He added that the United Kingdom also wants to work with US as a new partnership as the history shows that “when they work together, great things happen."
