New Year Greetings: SAC Chairman extended greetings on the New Year Day

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing extended greetings on the Myanmar New Year Day on 17th April.

The Senior General wished for all national brethren residing in the Union to be in good health and well-being during the transition time from the old year to the new year.

He also stressed the country has overcome many challenges caused by COVID-19 pandemic and political crises caused by purposeful violations on the way to marching towards the multi-party democracy system instead of practicing in honest way during the past year.

He said since this year is the pre-year of Diamond Jubilee Anniversary Independence Day, all are urged to make strenuous efforts to enjoy the fruitful results of Independence and the essence of democracy administration.

He mentioned that this year was designated as the Year of Peace and efforts are being made for achieving peace and prosperity in the entire nation.

He said the government is carrying out two national objectives which are prosperity and food sufficiency in the nation.

The Senior General said that all the entire union must achieve peace and prosperity and everyone has to enjoy the peaceful living status that can keep abreast the international standard.

With the use of natural resources on the land and underground, efforts have to be made for the entire people to enjoy plenty of foods without worry. And he expressed his belief for the success in implementing the tasks with the strength of people. 

New Year Greetings were also made by the prominent Sayadaws, SAC members and leaders of the interfaith religious groups.
