New Year Good Deeds: Fingerlings releasing and respect paying to elders

Taninthayi Region Government organized a ceremony to release fingerlings at the Seikkantha Jetty in Dawei on 17th April. Chief Minister U Myat Ko and officials released 20,000 fingerlings into the Dawei River.

The Chief Minister and party also attended the ceremony for paying respect to the elders at Sasana Beikmandawgyi.

They presented cash and provisions to 30 elders, Physicians from Dawei People’s Hospital also provided health screening to the elders.

The Taninthayi Region Government will provide cash and provisions which worth 13 million kyats to 260 senior citizens of over 90 years in door to door service.
