New Community Center in Taunggyi: MoI Union Minister attends opening ceremony of the new building

The new building of Community Center (Taunggyi) in Shan State was opened with a ceremony at the office of Taungggyi District Information and Public Relations Department on Monday. ,

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Shan State Chief Minister Dr Kyaw Tun, the Commander of Eastern Command and a town elder formally opened the new building of Community Center.

After taking documentary photos, the Union Minister and party viewed around the new community center. It was followed by the ceremony where the Union Minister gave an opening remark. At the event, the Shan State Chief Minister also gave a speech.A town elder also spoke word of thanks.

The Union Minister later presented DTH satellites and MRTV DVB-D2 Set Top Boxes for the Shan State Government, regiments and units and the people through concerned officials. The Union Minister and officials then presented certificates of hnour to well-wishers who contributed in the construction of Community Center.

Officials from the construction companies handed over the documents relating to the Community Center to the Director General of Information and Public Relations Department.
