New cold wave to hit China with precipitation up and temperatures down

A new cold air mass is set to bring increased rain and snow to the northeastern regions of China and initiate consecutive rainy days in southern parts of the country.

The cold wave is forecast to not only bring precipitation, but also cause a drop in temperatures in central and east China. The cold wave from November 10 to 13 may be stronger than the current one.

Temperatures are also expected to be lower than usual for the same period in most of the affected areas. From November 13 to 14, the minimum temperature in Jinan City of east China's Shandong Province will drop to 0 degrees Celsius for the first time since the beginning of autumn this year.

Furthermore, the highest temperatures in southern China will also drop to below 15 degrees Celsius. Experts reminded people in these areas to pay attention to the latest weather forecasts,and take precautions to stay warm and avoid catching a cold.
