Nay Pyi Taw Tour: President inspects development works in Nay Pyi Taw

President U Min Aung Hlaing accompanied by Vice President U Nyo Saw, Union Ministers and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman made inspection tour within Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory on Wednesday.

At Myanma Gems Museum, the President and party inspected the earthquake-resistant renovation measures, being carried out in line with established standards and provided necessary instructions on bequtifying and cleanliness of the facade of the museum and better drainge system. 

Subsequently, the President and party proceeded to Mani Yadana Jade Hall and Jade Garden (Nay Pyi Taw), inspected the maintenance condition and stressed on necessary refabrication measures of the Mani Yadana Jade Hall and tidiness and beautifying of the Jade Garden.

They then made inspection along Yaza Thingaha Road and Thapyay Gone Roudabout. Upon arrival at Naypyitaw Gate and Park construction site, the President heard reports on current work implementations and further tasks. The President stressed on systematic construction process of the gate upholding Myanma culture and tradition and better drainge system along new bypass road, calling for the concerted efforts of the relevant individuals in urban development process.

At Nay Pyi Taw People’s Square, the President gave instructions to include Myanma historically prominent figures in square area, while constructing the buildings in accordance with urban characteristics. Following this, the President and party visited Union Monument construction site.

There, the President elaborated on featuring the Myanma Prominent figures who made strenuous endeavours to build the Union and emphsized on blending of Myanma culture and modern architecture in building the monument and other infrastructure. Afterwards, the President inspected the construction process and coordinated necessities.
