NATO Military Committee Meeting

NATO military chiefs commenced their regular spring meeting on Tuesday at the alliance’s headquarters in Brussels. The session opened with a minute of silence held in honor of fallen NATO soldiers. Chair of the NATO Military Committee Cavo Dragone noted that the alliance is currently confronting “new crises” that have emerged since their previous meeting in January.

According to Dragone, “existing crises have deepened and security environment has become even more demanding.” A press briefing will be held on Tuesday following the meeting.
