National Single Window System: Steering Committee held work coordination meeting

The National Single-Window Steering Committee held its coordination meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein in his capacity as the committee chairman made a speech, saying that Myanmar has to implement a Single-Window System in order to provide smooth access in trading process with international community including ASEAN region.

It also needs to implement as par the General Supplementary amendments of Kyoto Protocol by World Customs Organization, Trade Agreement by World Trade Organization and ASEAN Trade Agreement. The meeting discussed for adoption Road Map for establishing Terms of Reference – TOR, formation of technical and legal work groups and future plans.
