National Ecology Day

A series of commemorative events were held across China on Tuesday to mark the country's first National Ecology Day, with the theme "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" which was first proposed by President Xi Jinping.

The cycling tour to promote urban cycling in the city and to raise public awareness about the positive aspects of green travels and hiking activity were held in Daqing City and Fujian province and other events to promote education on ecological conservation were put on throughout the country.
