National Day-Ao Dai parade on the streets in Hanoi

On the 78th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, hundreds of people in Hanoi gathered to participate an Ao Dai Parade, marking the beginning of the "Hanoi Ao Dai Festival 2023" series of events.   

Men were dressed in traditional five-panel long robes. At the same time, women wore simple ao dai outfits adorned with patterns promoting the beauty of Vietnamese culture. The group paraded and cycled through various major streets of the capital Hanoi, passing by many historical and tourist attractions areas.

Locals and tourists enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to witness and take part in this event.  Each citizen is urged to have awareness and responsibility to promote the capital city's values and rich cultural identity to visitors and international friends.
