Myanmar Wins Men's Quadrant Title : Myanmar Sepak Takraw arrives back home

Myanmar claimed the men's quadrant title at the 39th ISTAF King's Cup World Sepak Takraw Championship 2026, held in Bangkok, Thailand, from August 4 to 11.

Team Myanmar secured the championship after defeating hosts Thailand in the men's quadrant final. Myanmar also enjoyed success in the women's competition, reaching the women's doubles final. The Myanmar women's doubles team finished as runners-up after losing to Viet Nam in the final, taking home the silver medal. In Hoop event, Myanmar men and women teams won silver medals after competing against Thailand teams. The Myanmar Sepak Takraw team arrived back in Yangon on Wednesday morning.
