Myanmar / Japan: Meeting On Agriculture And Livestock Sector Development

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo on Thursday received Chairman of the Japan-Myanmar Association Mr. Watanabe Hideo at his ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

The meeting focused on acceleration of cooperation for Myanmar-Japan agriculture and livestock sector development by creating job opportunities in Japan for Myanmar citizens. The two sides also discussed storage and transport system development, acceleration of private sector cooperation and Sein Ta Line mango and vegetables farming, production and market penetration.
