

Organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Myanmar Cyber Security Challenge 2022 will be held at the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) in Nay Pyi Taw in the 2nd week of September.
Only 20 teams will be allowed to participate in the challenge and the teams that do not fill out the information completely and teams with less than three contestants will not have a chance to participate in the competition. The Director of the National Cyber Security Centre said that the event aims to develop human resources in the cyber security field, to disseminate cyber security knowledge among the youths and to boost cyber security careers.
Ye Naing Moe, Director, National Cyber Security Centre said “There is no age limit for the contestants in this competition, but the contestants must be under 30 years old when they are dispatched to international games. We will select the winning teams from this competition to participate in the international challenges. We held the Myanmar Cyber Security Challenge once time each in 2015, 2016 and 2018 and we held twice in 2019, altogether 5 times. We could not hold the competitions in 2020 and 2021 because of COVID-19. But, we launched a website for the youths to test their abilities and qualifications.”
