To enhance Myanmar-Belarus friendship, the Belarusian performance troupe currently in Myanmar visited and toured notable sites in Pyin Oo Lwin on Tuesday. The performance troupe consists of four members including Belarusian musician and composer/singer Mr. Vladimir Sukolinsky, vocalists Ms. Nadezhda Bryleva and Ms. Anzhelika Zaitseva and manager Mr. Danila Kisiev.

They were accompanied by the Vice-Chairman of the Myanmar-Russia Friendship Association, Mr. Alexander, a representative from the Russian Embassy, Mr. Andrei Tretiakov, and officials from MRTV. In the morning, they visited the National Kandawgyi Gardens in Pyin Oo Lwin with great interest, where they observed in detail the Fossil Museum, the Ingyin Rock Museum, the Peat Bog (Swamp), the conservation of Wa-Boe bamboo species, the Butterfly Museum, and the plots of native Myanmar orchid species.

Subsequently, they went to souvenir shops within Pyin Oo Lwin and purchased souvenirs to show their support. They then proceeded to the Pwekauk Falls (BE.FALLS) resort. There, they walked across the glass bridge within the resort and watched an elephant show.

Afterwards, they toured the resort area by buggy. During their visits, they also met and greeted members of the public who were freely and happily enjoying their leisure time at the resort during the Thadingyut public holiday period, and took group souvenir photographs.

This performance troupe arrived in Myanmar on October 5. They performed at the Mandalay City Hall on the evening of that day and at the Convocation Hall of the Defence Services Technological Academy in Pyin Oo Lwin on the evening of October 6. It is learned that they will continue their performances in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon.
