The Department of Government Efficiency head billionaire Elon Musk announced that he plans to bring back the astronauts who came to the International Space Station on the ill-fated Boeing Starliner in about a month.

Musk said when asked by President Trump during their joint interview on Fox News when he plans to launch. Trump pointed out that Musk’s team now has a go-ahead from him to fly the astronauts back to the earth. The Starliner was launched on 5th June and docked to the ISS.

US astronauts Barry Wilmore and Sunita Williams were expected to stay in orbit for eight days and return to Earth on the same spacecraft. However, the undocking of the Starliner has been delayed several times due to problems with thruster and the discovery of helium leaks. This has raised safety concerns, forcing Wilmore and Williams to remain on the ISS.
