







The opening ceremony of crop-based value-added food production training course was held at the training center under the small-scale industries department of Bago region on 3rd April.
At the ceremony, Bago region chief minister U Myo Swe Win said that the government is putting efforts for socio-economic development in rural and urban areas including development of job opportunities, small-scale industries and human resources. Also, efforts are being made to be able to extend the vocational support trainings in the region. So, trainees will be able to make small-scale businesses through the techniques provide by the training and the regional government is going to support for them. He continued that business registrations and lab tests are continuously to be made in line with the promotion of small-scale industries law for the development of small-scale industries and foods safety. Likewise, the development of local products reduces the currency flow for the imports from other countries and it can help for the country and for long-term development of MSMEs businesses.
Afterwards, the region chief minister and official concerned took documentary group photo, cordially greeted and observed the displayed training aids and giving training. The training will be given from 3rd to 7th April with 15 trainees covering the subjects of making jams, juice, sauce and other value-added products using the seasonal crops.
Then, region chief minister and officials made cash donations and offered day meal to government Pali Pahtmapyan exam supervisor Sayadawgyis and 210 members of Sangha and nuns who are sitting for the exam at Buddha Athan Dhamma Beikmandawgyi.
