MSME Development : Meeting with YRYEA delegation

Union Minister for Industry and MSME Development Dr. Charlie Than received a delegation led by the Chairman of the Yangon Region Young Entrepreneurs Association (YRYEA) at the ministry on Friday.

The meeting focused on participation of MSME entrepreneurs for promoting MSME development, adopting digital and artificial intelligence technologies, improving market access, strengthening human resources and cooperation between entrepreneurs.

They also discussed implementing the One Region One Product (OROP) initiative using local raw materials, entrepreneurs’ participation in awareness seminars and workshops, skilled-worker training for MSME Businesses and providing necessary support for new MSMEs.

They also exchanged views on improving product quality and packaging, raising consumer awareness on locally made products and strengthening cooperation, knowledge sharing and networking among entrepreneurs.
