Modi Holds Bilateral Meetings with Armenian and Iranian Leaders

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held separate bilateral meetings with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Bishkek.

During the meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Modi discussed about defense, economic partnership, pharmaceuticals, science and technology, mining, culture, and education.

Meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, PM Modi expressed deep concern regarding escalating tensions in West Asia and reiterated India's commitment to resolving conflicts via dialogue and diplomacy. Highlighted the absolute necessity of protecting commercial shipping, seafarers, and civilian infrastructure, calling for strict protection of freedom of navigation.
