Modi has extended a global invitation to invest in India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made an appeal to the world to come and invest in India - Semicon India 2023 was inaugurated on the 29th of July demonstrating India's chip design innovation and semiconductor prowess.

The 3-day event in Gandhinagar city of Indian state of Gujarat is a platform for what organizers say is 'Catalysing India's semiconductor ecosystem.' In his address, PM Modi said the 21st century is filled with opportunities for entrepreneurs, underscoring how India's democracy, demography and pro-business policies can lead to greater prosperity and profits.
