Miss World 2026 opens in Quang Ninh, showcasing Vietnamese heritage

The 2026 Miss World opening ceremony officially took place on Wednesday, in Quang Ninh of Viet Nam. During the ceremony, a performance of "Hello Viet Nam" followed by a vibrant fashion showcase of hand-painted conical hats depicting local heritage motifs was featured. This milestone event kicks off the 73rd anniversary edition of the pageant, featuring 111 contestants from around the globe showcasing traditional Vietnamese culture.
