Mine Clearance and Healthcare: Efforts for providing security and healthcare in Kyaukme

In order for the public to live in peace, the Tatmadaw conducted a Counter-Terrorism Operation in collaboration with local people who desire stability and peace. Full control over KyaukmeTownship in Shan State (North) has been regained.

In cooperation with relevant department officials and Tatmadaw members, efforts are being vigorously made to provide security for the local populace and necessary assistance, to reopen government administrative offices, schools for children's education, and hospitals for public healthcare services, among other rehabilitation tasks.

On the 12th of October, members of Security Forces have conducted mine clearance operations in departmental offices and public areas in Kyaukme. Moreover, doctors and nurses from the Ministry of Health and Tatmadaw provided healthcare services to local residents at temporary clinic in Labamuni Chinese Temple. In this day, 105 individuals were received healthcare services, including 3 who required hospitalization.
