MES Patrons and CC members: Patrons and CC members of MES held meeting

A meeting between the Patrons and Central Committee members of the Myanmar Engineering Society was held at the Myanmar Engineering Society in Hlaing Township, Yangon Region on September 23. 

Union Minister for the Ministry of Industry, Dr. Charlie Than attended the meeting virtually from Office No. (30) of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw. The meeting was attended by the Patrons, Central Committee members, and officials of the Myanmar Engineering Society.

First, the President of Myanmar Engineering Society delivered a welcome address. Following this, the Union Minister expressed his respects and greetings to the Patrons of the Society attending the meeting. He acknowledged and placed on record the Society's contribution to the approval and issuance of the Myanmar National Building Code - 2025.

Furthermore, he encouraged continued participation in efforts to develop the role of engineers. Subsequently, the Patrons, Central Committee members, and Executive members discussed and coordinated matters such as necessary actions for the long-term sustainability of the Myanmar Engineering Society, involving the new generation of young engineers in the Society's structure, participating in public welfare projects utilizing engineering expertise and organizing extensive knowledge-sharing seminars. The President of Myanmar Engineering Society delivered the concluding remarks, after which the ceremony was concluded.
