Meeting with Students : MoST UM met with Myanmar students in Moscow

Union Minister for Science and Technology, Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, currently in Moscow, Russian Federation, visited the World Atomic Week Forum-2025 on September 26, 2025, in the afternoon.

The Union Minister met with and encouraged Myanmar students participating in the Hackathon competition alongside students from 10 countries. In the evening, the Union Minister attended a dinner hosted by Alexey Likhachev, Director General of ROSATOM.

Subsequently, on the morning of September 27, the Union Minister visited the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPhI), where he met with the university's Vice Rector, professors, and officials to discuss scientific and technological cooperation between Myanmar and the Russian Federation.

Later, the Union Minister visited the Myanmar Embassy in the Russian Federation and met with Myanmar students studying science and technology in Russia, providing necessary support and assistance.
