Meeting Selected Receptionists: MOI UM met with selected receptionists for MMPAC

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn met with the individuals selected to serve as the receptionists for the 2025 Myanmar Motion Picture Awards Ceremony, at the Myanmar Motion Picture Organization on Wingaba Road in Bahan Township, Yangon on January 26.

During the meeting, the Union Minister expressed his pride and joy for the young men and women chosen as receptionists for the 2025 Myanmar Motion Picture Awards. He stated that artists are creators, and becoming a prominent artist is not easy. He encouraged those selected as receptionists to strive to become distinguished artists.

He added that the State highly values artists, as evidenced by the conferment of titles such as Sithu and Alinkakyawswer. He expressed his hope that in the coming period, the artistic community will thrive even more, the standards of Myanmar cinema will rise, and it will break through not only within the region and ASEAN but also onto the global stage.

He urged the new generation of artists to value both their art and the people. Afterwards, the 36 selected receptionists including 18 men and 18 women were introduced individually and performed short skits.
