Meeting on Preparations for Election: MDY CM attended and delivered the opening speech

A coordination meeting for the successful holding of the 2025 Multi-Party Democracy General Election in Mandalay Region was held at the Mandalay Region Government Office meeting hall on September 22.

At the meeting, the Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung delivered the opening speech, stating that the meeting was held to discuss the implementation of processes to ensure a complete and accurate voter list, which is the most fundamental and important aspect for the successful holding of the Multi-Party Democracy General Election scheduled for December 28, 2025. He emphasized that all departmental organizations at various levels must work together with security awareness and vigilance to successfully hold a free and fair multi-party democracy election, which is the ultimate goal of the State.

Following this, responsible officials from various departments involved in the Regional Election Commission presented reports according to their sectors. The Region ministers supplemented discussions regarding the election-related activities to ensure the successful holding of multi-party democracy general election. After that, the Chief Minister delivered the concluding remarks.
