Meeting with Political Parties’ Work Group: NSPNC explained findings on the proposals

National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee - NSPNC held a discussion with the Political Parties’ Work Group in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.

Member of the State Administration Council, Union Minister at the Union Government Office, Chairman of NSPNC Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and Leader of the Work Group, Chairman of Shan Nationalities Democratic Party U Sai Aik Pao extended greetings.

The meeting made detailed discussions on the findings of the committee on the proposals of the Work Group concerning the facts that they want to amend in the State Constitution (2008).

The committee also discussed the studies on the practicing of federal system in Germany and the remaining legislative lists to be enacted from Table 1 and 2 of the Constitution.

The meeting recorded the discussions outcomes as the collection of opinion from both sides. The meeting ended witht the remarks by the Work Group Leader and the Committee Chairman.
