Meeting with Local Farmers: MGY Region CM held meeting with local farmers

A meeting to discuss and improve local agricultural and crop productivity was held at the solar-powered river water pumping project compound in Kanni village tract, Minbu (Sagu) Township, Minbu District, Magway Region on September 7. The event was attended by Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, region ministers, and regional, district, and township officials, as well as local farmers. 

First, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and fficials visited the medical team led by the district's chief medical officer. The team was providing health care to local residents. The Chief Minister greeted the patients warmly and offered words of encouragement.

In the meeting with the local farmers, the Chief Minister gave a speech on a directive to enhance local agricultural and crop productivity. After his speech, the Director of the Magway Region Department of Agriculture, and other relevant regional officials provided presentations on their respective departmental work.

The Chief Minister then addressed the development needs and requests presented by local farmers from 15 different villages. He coordinated with the relevant departments to meet their needs. After that, he donated television broadcasting equipment to the village administrators and sub-village heads.
