Meeting in Keng Tung : Transboundary haze pollution prevention

On 24th Jaunary , a meeting on transboundary haze pollution prevention was held in Keng Tung Township, Shan State (East) with the attendance of Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi.

The meeting was inaugurated with the opening remarks of the Union Minister. Then, the Director General of Environmental Conservation Department led a discussion on transboundary haze pollution control. Next, the Director General of Forest Department made a discussion titled Forest Conservation and Urban/Rural Sustainable Development. 

The meeting was concluded with the closing remarks of the Union Minister, calling for the concerted efforts of the responsible individuals in transboundary haze pollution prevention.
