Meeting with Families: Commander-in-Chief meets with Tatmadawmen

Tatmadaw Youth Training Schools will be opened in Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw starting 2026-2027 academic year.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo said during his meeting  with the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) Office in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

He added that the move aims to turn out new generation youth for national defence duty, who equipped with quality education. Those outstanding individuals can join the Defence Services Academies and Institutes, Paramedical Training Courses and Computer Diploma Courses.

The Commander-in-Chief also urged all to strive for capable Tatmadawmen through constant training, having discipline and loyal to the nation. He also highlighted the role of peoples' military servants who contribute the nation in times of emergency. He outlined the arrangements for job opportunities for those who completed the military service.
