









A meeting with Myanmar-China business entrepreneurs was held at the Myanmar business representative office in Nanning, the People's Republic of China in the afternoon on September 16.
The Prime Minister U Nyo Saw attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The Prime Minister began by inviting Chinese business leaders to invest in the technology and investment sectors, as Myanmar is striving to export new products and value-added goods to both domestic and international markets.
He stated that Myanmar is working to create a favorable business environment for investors who come to the country in good faith. He expressed his belief that the meeting would strengthen the friendly, long-lasting relationship between the two countries and lead to even better cooperation in the future.
Next, the business leaders discussed and asked questions about their desired investments in Myanmar, increasing exports and imports in line with policies, and their interest in participating in Myanmar's development projects. Union Ministers and officials provided answers and discussed the relevant sectors, with the Prime Minister adding further comments.
In the morning, the Prime Minister and his delegation also visited the Global R&D Center of Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. in Liuzhou. Company officials demonstrated advanced technologies used to innovate and produce heavy machinery, including EVs.
They also showcased how their EV Loaders can be operated remotely in dangerous workplaces and explained how the factory's heavy machinery provides services for large-scale projects around the world. The Prime Minister asked questions and discussed the demonstrations with the officials.
