Media Trip: Media Team Gathered News In Maungtaw District, Rakhine State

A media team comprised of local and foreign media personals made interviews with the village administrator and locals from Ywar Ma  and Myoma Zayti Taung  villages in Buthee Taung Township, Maungtaw District on the morning of 30th January.

They then made a media tour to Thit Yinn  and Tat Yar villages and collected interviews from locals and officials from the villages. In the afternoon, the Maung Taw township administrator and officials of Kanyin Chuang economic zone made an explanation concerning with the economic zone and replied to the queries raised by the media personals at Kanyin Chuang economic zone.

After that, the media team looked around the economic zone and collected the news. In the evening, they met with the locals of Aung Bala new village in Maung Taw township which is donated by the Indian Government.

The media team is comprised of Frontier Myanmar, Black Night Media, Al Jazeera English, BBC, RFA, MRTV and MITV. The media teams have taken media tour to Maungtaw, Rakhine State for 35 times since December, 2016.
