Media Tour : Visiting the Tatmadaw Broadcasting Unit in Hmawby

Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by officials, inspected the Tatmadaw Broadcasting Unit in Hmawby on Saturday.

The Director of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun  and Commandent of the Station presented brief history of the station, progress of implementation guided by SSPC Chairman and general necessaries.

Upon the report, the SSPC Chairman said it is necessary to continuously and accurately broadcast news in a timely manner. He also added that the broadcasted programmes should be one that can contribute public interest and knowledge. The SSPC Chairman then viewed around the station and instructed the necessaries.

They also observed the completion of the construction of mass hall. During the visit, the SSPC Chairman provided cash rewards to officers, other ranks and staff of the station. Later, the SSPC Chairman and party toured around the compound of the Station by a motorcade.
