Mechanized Farming: Seeding machine cultivation method demonstrated

The operating of no-plough seeding machine in the cultivation was demonstrated in Mae Di village in Nay Pyi Taw Dekhina Thiri Township on Wednesday.

At the event, Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Tin Htut Oo said that using seeding equipment in cultivation will save cost and labours, environmental friendly and will benefit to farmers.

The seeding machines without ploughing are suitable to be used in the winter bean cultivated areas after monsoon paddy cultivation in the farmlands.

The Union Minister added that transforming to mechanized farming will be implement without fail to produce agricultural products in time, to overcome labour shartage and to produce more quality crops.

The Director General of Agricultural Mechanization Department explained about the benefits from using the seeding equipment.

The Union Minister, the Deputy Minister and attendees then observed cultivation methods with the use of seeding machine.
