Measures for Investment Progress: State Investment Committee Holds Meeting 5/2022

The Kachin State Investment Committee held its work coordination meeting 5/2022 was held at the State Government Office on Thursday. 
The meeting aimed for the progress of investments in the State, scrutinizing the applied investment tasks in line with law, bylaw, rules and instructions and enhancing field survey tasks. 
At the meeting, Chairman of the State Investment Committee, Kachin State Chief Minsiter U Khet Htein Nan said that the invitation of investments to the State is a fundamental task for the development of the State. 
In order to increase investment activities, the verification and approval in accordance with procedures and increasing field inspection activities must be conducted. 
Later, an official of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration in Kachin State reported progress of works on the previous meeting’s decisions and finding report on producing of cork bags and flats and crop cold storage services. Officials of private companies discussed permission for planting and distribution of quality tissue bananas on which the Chief Minister coordinated the needs for granting permission in line with procedures.
