Mandalay Yadanapon Park: Recreation place for public

Mandalay Yadanapon Park opened on Wednesday with the attendance of Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Htay Aung, Chief Minister U Maung Ko and officials.

After formal opening of the ceremony, the Chief Minister extended greetings, followed by the commemorative speech of Mayor U Kyaw Hsan.

The attendees later enjoyed the demonstration of Myanmar traditional bullock carts, traditional boats and performances with the accompaniment of Mingalar Traditional Orchestra.

Mandalay Yadanapon Park was being implemented by Mandalay City Development Committee with the supervision of Mandalay Region Government under the guidance of Chairman of the State Administration Council.

It aims for the public to have relaxation and to attract tourists.
