The chairman of state administration council, commander in chief of defense services, senior general Min Aung Hlaing delivered an address at the SAC management committee meeting (7/2021) held at the meeting hall of the office of SAC chairman, Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

Also present at the meeting were the vice chairman of state administration council, deputy commander in chief of defense services, commander in chief (Army) vice senior general Soe Win, union ministers and union attorney general. In his address, the chairman of state administration council said that it’s good activity that the union ministers’ inspection tour on the townshps under relevant sector.

The state administration council sets the policy and the respective ministries implement it. By touring on the ground, the state service personnel who are serving the departmental tasks can be met and their requirements can be fulfilled. it’s needed to coordinate among the ministries for the interest and development of the country.

During the inspection tours on ground, the state service personnel should be let known about the findings of UEC in the scrutinizing voters list in the regions, states and townships and the voting fraud occured during the 2020 general election. it’s needed to let all service personnel to understand the causes of the political crisises in the country due to the fraudulent activities in the last general election although the Tatmataw treasures the democracy and wants the democracy to be genuine. The ministries need to supervise the state service personnel to serve their duties in line with the state service personnel’ disciplines and to be systematic in the office works.

The senior general also urged to encourage domestic products, regulate the trades what can damage the domestic industries, the domestic garment industries are being run in upper regions including Mandalay such as producing Longyi, blanket, mosquito net etc. Those garments have to import the cotton raw materials from oversea.

The state needs to provide necessaries for local cotton plantation. The state-owned suspended textile mills should be re-operated to save expenditure of foreign currency.

Similarly, the SAC chairman pointed out to encourage local pharmaceutical industry, agriculture, livestock breeding etc. Then, the union ministers clarified the respective sector.

In his speech of conclusion, the chairman of state administration council pointed out the loss of revenes by the country due to the suspended state-owned factories, preparations for the departmental facilities not to damage due to the natural disaster, scrutinizing and taking actions against the vehicles and motorcycles without license and illegal importations and distributions of motorcycles, the necessary arrangements are being made to operate circular train, train and buses powered by electricity, for the effective use of revenues on the peace and stability and the development in health and educationsector etc.
