Macao wants to Broaden Areas of Economic Growth

The sixth-term Macao SAR government will be inaugurated on December 20th.

 The outgoing Secretary for Economy and Finance, Lei Wai-nong, said he felt honoured to have participated in the work of the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. Macao’s gross domestic product in the first three quarters of this year is about 301 billion Macao patacas. 

This, as the city’s annual figure for 2024, was estimated at over 300 million by mid-November, an increase of 6 percent compared to last year.
