Legal Knowledge-Sharing Seminar: Chin State CM delivered opening speech

A legal knowledge-sharing seminar for Myanmar companies was held on September 17 at the meeting hall of the General Administration Department in the Chin State Government Office in Hakha. The State Chief Minister, Dr. Vung Suan Thang , attended and delivered the opening address.

State Chief Minister Dr. Vung Suan Thang stated that the purpose of holding such a knowledge-sharing seminar is to ensure that business owners in Chin State, who form companies and conduct business operations, are aware of and understand the fundamental concepts and principles they should know. He urged the business owners attending the seminar to listen carefully to the explanations and presentations by the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) and to freely ask questions about any points they wish to further understand.

Following this, the Director of DICA, U Tun Tauk Aung , gave a presentation using PowerPoint on the legal concepts of Myanmar companies, rules and regulations, basic knowledge required when forming a company, and principles of company ownership and management.

After the Director’s explanation, the business owners participating in the seminar asked questions and discussed points they wanted to further clarify. The State Ministers and the Director of DICA provided responses, and the State Chief Minister delivered concluding remarks.
