South Korean President Lee Jae Myung arrived in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on Thursday, on a three-day state visit. Marking the first time a South Korean head of state has visited in 15 years, the trip aims to boost supply chain resilience for critical minerals and explore multilateral peace efforts on the Korean Peninsula.

Lee will hold a summit with the Mongolian president, during which the two leaders are expected to declare a "golden era" of bilateral ties, presenting a shared vision for future cooperation.
