Presidents and Prime ministers from around the world continued to descend on the United Arab Emirates to pay their respects to the federation's late ruler. They were greeted by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's newly appointed successor, his half-brother, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. On Sunday, Sheikh Mohammed received condolences from British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Pakistani Prime Minister, German President, Palestinian President and Ethiopian Prime Minister. Sheikh Khalifa died on Friday at the age of 73 after years presiding over the country's rapid transformation into a global business hub and regional power center.
