
The ceremony of launching and introduction of “Enchanting Myanmar Health and Safety Protocol” Website to enable to apply, confirm and issue the certificates for the Hotel and Tourism services as the healthy and safety service industries was held at the Nilar meeting hall of the ministry of Hotel and Tourism via Video Conferencing System in the evening on Wednesday.
At the ceremony, the Union Minister for Hotel and Tourism Dr. Htay Aung said that the first prioritized strategy to build a trust on Myanmar as a secured and safe destination and improve healthy and safe measures, is the current prioritized phase included in the Myanmar Tourism Strategic Recovery Roadmap-MTSRR drafted by the ministry to respond the impacts of COVID-19 affected severely Myanmar Tourism sector.
Therefore, the plan to implement “Enchanting Myanmar Health and Safety Protocol” was drafted to issue the recognized badges systematically and promote the tourism sector of Myanmar through the healthy and safe services.
At the moment, to implement the three phases included in the plans, one of the main phases of “Enchanting Myanmar Health and Safety Protocol” Website has been developed.
Hence, the ceremony of launching and introducing of website is held today for the widely understandng of all stakeholders in the tourism sector. All stakeholders in the tourism sector from each region should organize all staff to participate in the health and safety training carrying out by the ministry and help to understand the website widely and register in the website.
Next, the director-general of Hotel and Tourism Depatment U Maung Maung Kyaw clarified “Enchanting Myanmar Health and Safety Protocol” the plan, completion of implementation by the ministry and future work plans and the Managing Director Secure Link Co., Ltd U Tun Tun Win introduced the “Enchanting Myanmar Health and Safety Protocol” Website.
Then, the participants inquired what they wanted to know and the union minister gave a concluding speech and coordinated necessaries.
