Walls splitted and floors buckled as homes in Indonesia's Tegal fell victim to more than a week of landslides. More than 2,400 people have been evacuated as residents rushed to salvage their belongings on Tuesday.

Based on last week’s meeting, officials said "temporary housing will be built for the evacuees. After that, they will be relocated to a safer area", adding that the temporary relocation site will still be around Padasari village, but further downhill."
