



Union Minister for Labour U Khin Maung Soe visited Mandalay Labour Hospital in Aung Myay Tha Zan Township on Friday, together with Region Hluttaw Representatives and ministry officials. They inspected healthcare services for insured workers, kidney dialysis services and warmly meet the patients.
During a meeting with hospital staff, the Union Minister stressed the need to effectively implement healthcare services that directly benefit the public and insured workers in line with the Government’s 100-day plan. He also called for warm and effective treatment of patients and improvement of basic and specialized healthcare services
. The Social Security Board (SSB) currently provides healthcare services to insured workers in Mandalay Region through Mandalay Labour Hospital, 13 township social security clinics, nine departmental clinics, and six contract clinics. From April 2025 to May 2026, more than 100,000 patients received treatment, while 3,857 medical reimbursement cases worth more than 1.1 billion kyats were provided.
The Union Minister and party later visited the Vocational Training Center (Mandalay) in Pyigyidagun Township. They inspected the opening of the Solar Installation Techniques Course and the Electrical Work Level-1 Examination and Assessment.
He highlighted plans to expand vocational and MSME-related training courses in Upper Myanmar under the Government’s 100-day plan, including mobile training programs, MSMEs and digital technology courses, and employment support for graduates.
