Kumar Bhaskar Varma Setu bridge inaugurated in Northeast India

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated several projects focused on improving connectivity and infrastructure in the North-Eastern region of India. Kumar Bhaskar Varma Setu bridge, among the projects which connects Guwahati with the northern part of the city, was expected to reduce travel time to just seven minutes.

The bridge incorporates earthquake-resistant technology to enhance safety, and Health Monitoring System had also been integrated for real-time monitoring and early damage detection and improved safety.
