Korean nationals evacuated from Iran, Israel

As airstrikes continued, Korean nationals in Iran and Israel began evacuating. With flights suspended, South Korea Ministry of Foreign Affairs assisted their departure via land routes.

It was 5 a.m. local time on Monday local time when a bus carrying South Korean nationals in Iran departed Tehran. The group of around 20 people including residents and embassy officials headed toward the Turkmenistan border. Around that time, the foreign ministry dispatched a rapid response team to Turkmenistan to assist with border passage procedures.
