Knowledge Sharing Programme: Cross-Border industrial linkages and trade opportunities

Cross-border industrial linkages took center stage in this week's Friday Talk, organized by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations.

Union Minister Dr. KanZaw participated in the weekly Knowledge Sharing Programme, emphasizing the importance of human resource development and capacity building within the ministry. Myanmar attains Generalized System of Preference status for trading, enabling the export of goods to Europe and East Asia.

Furthermore, the country has earned the Most Favored Nations reward, a significant factor in attracting investors and fostering increased investment in Myanmar.

The presentation during the event highlighted the successful implementation of free trade initiatives between Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) businessmen and entrepreneurs from the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) member countries. Over 120 officers and staff from the departments and offices under the ministry joined the programme.
